This is the first of a series of in depth articles about building a WordPress SaaS. It’s published by our sister site, OpenSaaS, but WPCloudDeploy All Access customers will recognize all the usual WPCD elements.
Everything the article discusses can be done inside of WPCD with an All Access license – the difference is that you have to setup your own servers instead of relying on the OpenSaaS staff to do it for you.
If you’re interested in building a WordPress based SaaS and want to quickly get an MVP out the door to test the waters, this is a great starting point.
Every resource we’ve seen about building a SaaS on WordPress skips over the hard parts and never really get into the nitty-gritty down-in-the-dirt details about what’s really required to get a product out the door. This series looks to fill that gap.
The series will ultimately consist of at least 5 separate articles. The first two are available now and gets you to an MVP for most use-cases.
Even when all the articles are complete, they will continue to be updated and expanded over time to add even more detail and address additional use-cases.
